Private Instruction

You may instruct us on a private basis either on an hourly rate or, where appropriate, for a fixed fee. Hourly rates vary according to the seniority and experience of the solicitor involved and the area of law.

Fixed fees can be offered or agreed for certain matters, but they are not suitable in every case.

Our private hourly rates are set out below. All rates are exclusive of VAT and do not include disbursements. Disbursements are additional costs that may arise during your case—for example, Counsel’s fees, court/tribunal fees, and expert charges.

VAT is charged in addition at the current rate of 20%.

Private Hourly Rates by Service

    • Senior Solicitor — £250.00 per hour

    • Solicitor — £200.00 per hour

    • Partner — £400.00 per hour

    • Senior Solicitor / Consultant — £350.00 per hour

    • Solicitor — £250.00 per hour

    • Senior Solicitor - £200.00 per hour
